Moat Mountain is a casual, fun place for families as well as adults-without-children. The 174-seat brew pub and restaurant is located in one of North Conway’s historic buildings on Route 16 in Intervale. (The grave site of the Willey family, who tragically lost their lives in the 1825 flood, is located behind the restaurant, which was formerly their home). Award-winning ales and lagers are brewed on-site which you can enjoy with dinner or in their pub. As you enter, you can see the brewing vats below. You can also take some home in a growler or keg.

The brightly renovated restaurant has artistic hand-painted wall murals and is very colorful and upbeat. Their extensive, eclectic menu is great for our family, whose tastes range from meat lovers to vegetarians and even a perpetual dieter! Many dishes start in their own smokehouse and feature two homemade barbeque sauces, with pulled pork or beef brisket. Quesadillas, flat bread pizza and an amazing vegetarian peanut chili are some of our family’s favorites. Cathi always orders the Spinach salad with smoked salmon, pecans, mangoes & goat cheese with a citrus vinaigrette. The Moat is located en route to North Conway.
